TRAVEL
Rose and Smith is roughly an hour’s drive from Porirua/Wellington.
There is plenty of parking available.
(Note: entrance is through SH2)
As there will be lots of drinking, pick up and return transport can be arranged for guests within the Wairarapa Region. If you would like to be included, please specify with your RSVP so we can contact you later for further information.
ACCOMMODATION
We are not arranging accommodations for our guests, as there are plenty of options in the surrounding towns.
GIFTS
Celebrating together is all we could ask for.
For those who wish to give, there will be a wishing well for our honeymoon fund at the venue.
FAQs
- Do I have a plus one?
While we wish we could celebrate with everyone, we're only including the guests listed on each invitation. If you have been given a plus one, it will be specified on your invite.
- Can I bring my kids?
Although we love your little ones, we are only able to accommodate children within our immediate families and close relatives. We hope this advanced notice means you're able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!
- Are phones allowed out during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that phones NOT be used during the ceremony. We will share the photos from our photographer when they're available :) Go for it at cocktail hour and reception!
- What do I wear?
The dress code is garden formal. Click the Pinterest link for inspo! You can see our summer wedding colours in the dress code section, though you are not required to wear them. The ceremony will be outdoors (weather-permitting *fingers crossed*) and the reception will be indoors.
